2010 V36 Bose Sound System Firmware Update

Hi There,

Having some issues with Bluetooth streaming music from my iPhone to Bose System in my 2010 V36.

My Bluetooth for phone calls still works fine.

I have a feeling the Bose system needs a firmware upgrade to the latest A2DP standard to stream music.

If anyone has got any info on how to get a firmware upgrade, can you please let me know?

There's an option on the US Bose site where you can use a product finder to look for upgrades, but you need the serial number of the product. If anyone knows how to get the serial number without pulling the media unit out, that info would be much appreciated as well.
