Oil Cooler Placement

So we all agree that the best place to put an oil cooler on an r32 gtr is in the inner passenger front bar. Problem is would this restrict air flow to the standard air box. Thank.

Mine is in the passenger side front bar and is making 360ish kw with clutch starting to slip so should get 400 pretty easy so I would say no and also I am running standard airbox also

In front of the rad so when you tap something you don't rip it off

+1 infront of rad behind the intercooler. Zero difference in cooling efficiency coolant wise and tucked away

Yeah there's the AC condenser and fan.

Mine is all removed and is perfect for an oil cooler

I've got one on each side... I'd have to hit something pretty hard to do them damage. I didn't want to put anything else in front of my radiator... (bigger inter cooler, condenser, fan etc.)

Saying that, I mounted the oil cooler on my drift pig infront of the intercooler and rad. But the pig is low power only and the oil gets reasonably hot after a few runs.

My engine temp drops while cruising on a chilled night. Never goes over 90 odd whilst drifting on a 25plus deg day. Seems to be good so far. I also don't have ac on my car

Mine is between the intercooler and radiator but the intercooler is quite low and half the oil cooler sticks out above the intercooler. Also I have an air diverter to force the air through the coolers (intercooler, oil cooler, radiator and aircond).
