Hi guys I'm new to suspension work and can't seem to find much on the subject so help is appreciated!

Looking to convert my 32 4 door from 5 stud to 4 stud. 4 stud being 4 x 114.3

Reason is 4 stud has better wheels available. for anyone wondering

Is there a way to do this and keep all my suspension geometry the same, and keep my brake performance the same?

Like, I don't want to buy worse brakes as I have slotted r33 brakes already.

Am I right in thinking I could just source some r33 NA/r32 NA, or Silvia 4 stud hubs, use my driveshafts on th car, and either drill out my brakes to 4 x 114.3, or buy some other r33 brakes and drill them out. As I'd like to be able to change between 4 and 5. Also swap the 5 stud knuckles to the 4 stud hub.

Is it as simple as that? So I can keep all my brake lines calipers driveshafts suspension etc all the same

Thanks

Won't be legal? It's a track car. Degrade a car? I can clearly use the same brakes just re drilled to 4 stud so where am I going backwards?

one stud less all around is definitely a bad idea! ...

5 stud has better options In 17/18 range. LXZ, vs kf, equips, strusse, gtc, gram lights etc etc.

But I want 15s and an old school jap look to suite the 4 door. which has been done many times

Thanks for your useless input that has no relevance to anything I asked

All right. If you had bothered to say that it was a track car in the first place, then I wouldn't have bothered to warn you about legalities. It's not my fault that your capacity for English experession is so poor. By the way, it is "suit", not "suite". What do you have run through your mind when you type "suite"? Is it "Sweet mate!!!!"?

It's a track car - what does it really matter what the wheels look like?

And if it's a track car, I wouldn't go any larger than 17" - after all, you want SOME sidewall to flex. Otherwise be prepared for "understeer central".

whether its a track car or not really has no relevance to the question I'm asking and should not change anyone's replies.

Edit - Can't handle a typo here or there either can you? I still struggle to understand why you have even posted in here?

Pretty sure the old style wheels won't give you enough back spoke clearance. Standard 4pot wheels are 16", I doubt any of the available 15" wheels will clear the 4 pots. So you'll most likely end up going to sliders (e.g. R33 N/A twin-pot front), unless you run spacers (if the wheels have enough diameter clearance).
