Turbo Exhaust Wheel Rubbing

Took my turbo off couple of weeks ago rotated housing and comp cover was fine then all of a sudden today its rubbing when u turn it by hand.

When i loosen all the bolts its fine as soon as tighten rubs again cannot figure it out.

did you take it off and put it back on again....works for me sometimes

Yeah did it a few times gets better thsn starts again, asked tao he said bearings are just dry cause turbo been out for a while.

I must've misunderstood the situation. If it is hitting the housing after you pulling it apart it means the bearing housing didn't sit into turbine housing fully or correctly. You might want to clean up some of the rusts and dirt around with WD40 and try again.

Do not put it back into the car the way it is.
