thanks SNAZ

those thing i did first:

Big down pipe, 3,5inc.

Hole exhause whitaout cat, and one muffler, the muffler in back. 3,5inc.

On the turbo i got better flow in to it, bigger kompressor hole.

Kn, biggest podfilter.

electric fan, wisko in the trasch.

acc pump in the tracsh whit the cooler cell pakedge. (Spells?!)

Big custom made intercooler from a truck, 10cm thick, take out all space in front.

Unshoure whats the effect was on that modds??! but it was a big diffrent.

Thats it, what i had to do first, but it is not gonna end, if u once start to take out power, u will never stop doing that =))

regards and good luck dude.

Regards Klas

10cm thick coola

man ur in sweden its cold enough over there as is.

seriously with a coola that thick u may get lag problems and also possible a tendancy for the radiator to overheat as its not getting enough air flowing over it.

electric fan and water pump are good ideas. as they stop the stock items robbingpower from the engine.

Standard ECU, injectors and AFM are probably good for around 220rwkw. The standard turbo can make 200rwkw, the only way I've seen it done though is with a PowerFC or Microtech LT12.

As a guide I have similar mods to yours with a SAFC and @12psi my car makes 188rwkw.

yepp exaktly (8,5 cellpacked only) is the coola, weary thick but not thested yet,

whit the overheating probb, it is a big radiator fan from a scania truck and it sucks really asome, its not gonna overheat, allready try it out...

but now im worring, should i take a blowing fan or sucking whit that sort of coola???!

go for

1)exhaust

2)pod filter or decent panel filter element

3)boost controller (set to 10psi with std cooler)

4) SAFC fitted and tuned

5)front mount

6)boost up to 12psi and retune SAFC, should be looking around the 180-200rwkw mark

id say the turbo will die before the fuel system.

next steps are

fuel pump

bigger turbo

metal head gasket

injectors

full replacement ECU

and hopefully looking at around 220+rwkw by that stage!

This is testiment to the fact that dynos are all different.

My turbo would not make more power past 160rwkws

The injectors died at 170rwkw.

I now have a GT30, 550cc inj, maplassi, powerfc, 600x300x90 cooler, pod, exhaust 3 in and i can only just lay down 190 because of my dump pipe.

Thats why i said 200 is unrealistic if anyones curios.

That's weird, I made over 160rwkw @11psi with no SAFC!

Have you considered that it's your exh housing that's restricting flow not the dump, I remember you saying your using the standard exh/h with a larger comp/cover and obviously larger comp/exh wheels. I had a hiflow turbo consisting of a larger comp/wheel with a backcut exh/wheel on my old VL turbo, it was the worst thing I ever did, it pulled good down low but the top end was terrible, the exh/wheel and housing was to restrictive for the larger comp/wheel, I tried a large dump pipe but it made no difference as the problem was at the turbo not after. The more boost I ran the worse it was, can't feed air in if you can't get the gas out, was what I was told by the guy who built it, NOW you tell me!

what dyno did u get yours done on?

They all vary alot, and its very easy to fudge figures 2!

fark thats preety impressive man, u might have a engine filled with sum goodies u dont know about!

Well Gerald and Nigel did ask whether I had a larger turbo or not after they did the SAFC tune, I said doubtful as I'm making boost at 2500rpm, apparently the last VG30, SAFC combo R33 they tuned made 195rwkw and they were suprised that I was only 7kw below that. All I can put it down to is a good FMIC, it's very hard to make hp with hot air which is why I always recommend an intercooler before a boost increase.

so u got 188kw@wheels after s-afc tune with cat back exhaust and fmic?

what fmic u got on there and what boost were u running?

The intercooler is from HYBRID in Sydney and was at a discounted price of $705 thanks to some guy on the forum, normally $880. My exhaust= Stock dump-3" to stock cat-3.5" to first muffler-4" to rear muffler-5" tip. 188rwkw was achieved @12psi using EBC (Profec B) so it holds all the way, which helps.

ebc definitaly helps power 2, cause my boost was varying all over the place with my turbosmart 2 stage bleed valve sh*t!

so many things to get but not enough $$:)

Not sure if this thread is completely dead but i read it entirely upon doing a search for 'PowerFC'. I'd just like to give an idea of power u can expect by the mods that i have:

1995 R33 GTS-T w/ 62,000km.

* Custom FMIC (by Performance Metal Crafts)

* Nismo 3" Cat back exhaust

* HKS Pod Filter

* TurboXS Adjustable Boost Controller

* Stock Turbo

* Stock ECU

On the Unigroup Dyno Dynamics Dynomax i got:

168rwkw @ 7psi

192rwkw @ 12psi

I was using 96RON Fuel (i only use 98RON now after finding that out) and my Oil had done 9,000km.

Note that i got these figures at a Skyline Dyno Day we had their along with about 20 other Skylines.

Yeah I guess 192rwkw is believable with the correct A/F ratio, did they give you your ratio? Mine was rich around 10:1 which was why I went the SAFC, occasionally though the odd Skyline won't run rich when modified and therefore make more power.

if you havent tinkered with the comp and r running the stock 10.0 a/f ratio u wont be getting 192kw@wheels!!

alot of dynos give big kw@wheels figures and then when you go to a sau dyno day and run it on a proper 1 with every1 else you wont get that high of a figure!! Seen it many many times!!!!
