Need advice: Fuel Pump and FPR

Hey guys kinda need some advice about fuel pumps. I did do a search and did get heaps of info regarding some of the different brands out there. But I am sorta unsure of a few things.

First off I would say that I will be looking to have roughly 230-250rwkw someday so am looking at getting a fuel pump that wouldnt have a problem with that figure.

There was alot of talk about the 040 being the intank replacment whereas the 044 is an external pump. Also that the Walbro pumps dont take well to high pressure. Is this about the jest of things? Or is there soemthing/another pump you can shed some light on? Looking for an intank replacement.

Also the Malpassi Double Rising rate fuel pressure regulator, what do u guys think of this? Do I even need one?
