R33 Skyline Build

Hi, I’m a year 12 student and for one of my subjects I’m planning on undertaking a topic about converting a stock standard r33 GTS-T skyline into a drag car. I’ve narrowed it down to 10 questions that I’d like some advice on.

I don’t expect people to answer every question but if you could help me out with one or even a couple I’d really appreciate it.

· 1.) Are they any obvious parts that’ll need to be replaced in a skyline to turn it into a drag car?

· 2.) Does anyone have photo graphic examples of doing a similar procedure? Or have a link to a website that has done something similar?

· 3.) Is there any strict standards that I need to keep to for the car to stay eligible to race?

· 4.) Where can I find information out about drag racing standards in South Australia?

· 5.) Can anyone give me some pricing information on the certain types of parts I need?

· 6.) Does anyone know some stores in Adelaide that I can get parts from?

· 7.) Does anybody know where I could find more information on this topic? Websites? Clubs?

· 8.) Where would I be able to find quotes related to this topic?

· 9.) Will certain mechanics/websites provide me a free quote?

· 10.) How long would this whole process likely take?
