Converting A Series 1 To 2

hey guys i am looking at buying a skyline andwould prefer a series 2 but cant find one in my price range that isnt a shitbox soi was wondering ifi bought series 1 will i be able to slap on a series 2 bonnet and bar to make it look like a series 2 or will it not fit ? also is it expensive?

You would need new headlights too as they are different shape to series 1 and bonnet will not fit over the s1 lights due to their slimmer shape. You'll needa new grill between headlights also. Not worth the money.

What's your time worth?

Just buy a series 2 and be done with it. Realistically, if you can't afford afford the difference between series 1 or 2 now, you shouldn't buy one. That cost will be a drop in the ocean if you can on keeping it and modifying it.
