hi all

in my previous post I had a question about the nm35 stage engine vq25det.

the quality and style of these cars is a big bonus as is the power from the engine.

however due to really liking manuals and the ease of modifying the rb25det neo 6 engine.

I have decided to buy a 25t RS Four.

modifications planned once I have vehicle are as follows.

Link G4 plug in ecu ---- everything I have read suggests they plug straight into s2 stagea

Upgraded turbo ---- unsure on what specific one yet.

Electronic boost controller

Inlet air temp sensor

upgraded turbo back exhaust

Return Flow FMIC

AFM delete pipe

the Link G4 ecu comes built in with a MAP sensor so I want to go down that track of getting rid of the AFM

at this stage I wont be after too much power future modifications if I get the itch for more power ill add a front facing plenum change intercooler and upgrade injectors and exhaust/turbo manifold

hope it all goes to plan with no hickups and I will be posting pics I tend to go snap happy

There are hi-flow rebuild options for the standard turbo which should give you enough headroom for a while.

If youre going to start from a stock car, then theres probably a lot of groundwork maintenance to be done in the suspension for example.

work at pedders so shouldn't be too hard or costly to sort suspension out

Hi Jarrod & welcome. Why not buy a clean 260RS straight up & be done with it? For a while at least.

Cheers GW

I agree, little disappointed I didn't go down this route and settled for a rsfour, when really I should have waited and bought the right car the first time. Now don't get me wrong I love my car but sometimes which I had the manual option.
