Haha, yeah will probably keep it for a fair while, though its not so stealth in bright yellow

I'd love to get a second car as a daily tho, i'm thinking ralliart colt (~$9k, turbo, good on fuel)

Wheels, coilovers and a tune would make me pretty happy and i don't think i'd be on the wrong side of the law (though they can seemingly get you for anything if they really want)

unless your a hellaflush, stanced, flatcapping f**kwit who goes to events that a renowned for shitbox cars..... you will be fine

^this is true. My 33 is relatively stock with aftermarket body kit, bigger wheels but with heaps of gap between my wheels and arches owned it for just over 1 1/2yrs been pulled up 3 times or RBT's late late at night.

So what does everyone do for fun these day?

Last time i lived at home for more than 3 months broady carpark was still there and was where all the cool kids go

Glad to hear that e85 is available from a couple of servos now too! Eventually i'm thinking hypergear highflow on e85 and see what i can get out of it

Just need to organise some form of paying for it all

man how long ago did you live on the GC?????

Broadie car park is no longer and has been that way for a long time now.

Its now a family theme park (which is pretty cool mind you and good for the overall community :) )

Too much attention was caused by the so called cool kids at Broadwater car park.

I have joined the QLD SAU club for fun. As that is where you can enjoy tonnes of fun and also use your car in a controlled and safe environment at some events they organise.

I will be going to my first event with my car this Sunday at QR Happy Laps - so very excited and nervous at the same time

Yeah, E85 is pretty easy to procure over here (for now) and I have a servo at the end of my street that supplies it.

Welcome back by the way.

5 years of uni + a gap year so i've been away for a little while

I usually come up at the end of each uni semester for summer, but its never long enough to get back into the car scene up there, its just about enough to catch up with some mates and then back down to Tas :(

I head someone had a meet on the gc the other day and police were cool with it and no one got raped which is cool

Probably won't have my car up there till maybe early jan so thats probably gonna suck, should be run rolling around in my parent's corolla :/

mate if you drive sensibly in a car that is not flat capper defect central you should have nothing to worry about.

Now, start driftin / skiddin / racin on public roads.......then you deserve the consequences that are attached with such inappropriate actions

If you aren't a dick attracting attention, it's not that bad. In a Volvo lookalike, they really won't look twice - unless you're flying down backstreets at 100. If you're really that concerned, buy a wig. As they glance at you, you'll look like a soccer mum and all is sweet. :P
