Where is it located? hard to tell from the picture

and where does/did it hook up to?

Part number doesnt look right, they are usually in 2 parts like: xxxxx-xxxxx That sort of format

Isn't that the solenoid for the fuel tank purge or something related to charcoal cannister? dont stress about it :)

superben - thats exactly it, and the actual part number is 14920- aaoa, ive been told. theyre about $180 to get from nissan, hopefully ill just find a wreck and take it from there

but would you say its fine to drive like this?

Yeah I would definitely drive it. If you can hear it leaking at idle I would just block up the hose, no way would I spend that much money on one! wrecker or some super glue to the rescue.

Yes it's fine to drive. Mine was the same for about 6months. Nissan don't make that size anymore either I am told and experienced.

They do have a replacement unit but it is larger.

The bolt that secures it to the bracket is larger and the 2 black pipes are larger also which requires the tubes to be replaced also :/

I bought one through Amayama - when I got it I complained. Amayama told me that they contacted Nissan and this is it now :(.

Best bet as said above is to get one off a wreck.
