Changing P/s Pump To 2 Pipe

i have my hicas looped on my r32, i have a 2 pipe pump that i want to replace the 3 pipe one with. what other piping can i remove as part of changing the pumps over?

im assuming you are talking about a 33 pump? if so remove all the hicas lines from the engine bay aswell as they are now redundant. will be 2 hoses one to the pump from resivoir and a return.

Yup. Looping not required if you replace pump. Get rid of the unneeded hard line that run down from PS pump along front of crossmember to the HICAS solenoids on the driver's side. Get rid of hard lines to/from rear of car and the lockout solenoid at the rear.

i've previously removed everything from the rear to the solenoids on the drivers side rail, which is where it is looped.

I understand where the 3rd line on the pump is that goes to the solenoid can be removed, does it need to have a bolt plugged into it on the steering rack end once i remove it?

Will jack up the car tomorrow and look at the lines, and it will probably all make sense then

No. The rear stage of the pump is dedicated to the rear steer. The front stage is dedicated to the rack. They do not interact.

Cool, it'll mean i can get to my radiator drain easily too once its out as the big hicas hose sits right on it.
