Edwards Lees have a Supra coming in that I have the auction sheets for. The weird thing is, they have listed the car as 0kms on their site, in carsales and on gumtree. I wonder why.. ?

Ill reveal the Information I have when they reveal the Kms on the car.

Perhaps they're waiting for ^^ your post to see if the coast is clear?

How would "you" feel if you were an emigrant

> shipped out from Japan

> your medical records were lost

> washed and dried instead of being examined

> arthritic rust covered up with cream

> given a face lift instead of a liver detox

> sold off as a virgin slave who's never done a marathon

Wasn't referring to you Chris :)

Strongly recommend the black 1999 "vspec 2" currently at Edward Lees, complete with epic front end hit and home made vspec 2 sticker.

Great buy.

Jeebuz these guys are pushing it too far..

There will be an 18 y/o that will buy that. Same as my customer bought a manual GTV ( think about that for a second) as they were all auto.

Lol, don't buy an RX7 from Edward Lees either....

http://www.edwardlees.com.au/stock/1999-mazda-rx7-type-rb-3041.htm

"Mint Mint Mint and totally original and stock standard RX-7 . Rare, unmolested, unmodified – Travelled just 56,000 kms this car is like new inside and out."

Rare, unmolested, unmodified.......apart from the aftermarket exhaust, gear knob, turbo timer, strut tower brace, pedals, stereo system.....what a dick head. Judging by the wear on the steering wheel and seats I would say that this car has well over 100,000km on it.

Wow

I've been referred to as a tarted up import and a lemon, all in the one topic.

Last time I bring in an immaculate GTR with 256,000kms and sell it with 33,000.

Kidding!

if you are not in a hurry. i can help you import one. dreamcarcity.com.au

Congrats on your newly updated website! Seems this new one allows you full control over the VIN/chassis number field. Fortunately I have some screenshots of the old one - not GTR's but some interesting V series on there:

1st post - enjoy your free advertising and welcome to SAU.

(EDIT: I suppose these will all turn out to be consignment cars... )

Name change to nightmare car city perhaps?

I am so over the constant clipping of kms. It has a negative impact on everyone involved, from dealers to buyers. If I was buying again I think I would only go with a car that has had one trusted australian owner with history and NOT bought from dodgy dealer or import again myself.

This Supra is for sale somewhere. Do your research, find out where and then know not to buy your GTR's from there. Or any other car for that matter.

:)

That is shocking. Plus it looks like its got some serious accident damage history with the entire panels from one side and the boot replaced. That shouldnt have been complianced!

It needs to be compulsory for imports to be sold with their de-registration papers. If they cant supply dereg certificate, go somewhere else!
