Major Service R34 Query

Hi guys,

I am in need of doing a major service for my auto R34.I have already bought a kit incuding the following from Kudos Motorsport.

• 1 x *Genuine Nissan Water Pump
• 1 x Genuine Nissan Timing Belt
• 1 x Genuine Nissan Cam & Front Crank Seal Set
• 1 x Genuine Nissan Tensioner Bearing Spring
• 1 x NSK Timing Belt Idler Bearing (Nissan OEM)
• 1 x NSK Timing Belt Tensioner Bearing (Nissan OEM

Firstly, I would just like to ask if I should purchase anything else on my own accord, rather than get it supplied by a mechanic to save on expenses?

Secondly, can anyone recommend a mechanic in Adelaide to perform the major service? Someone experienced in this area, as well as charging a reasonable price.

Thirdly, as I have not had a 'general service' on the car in sometime, what else is recommended to be completed on the car in conjunction with the major service? I should mention I had the solenoids, a shift kit, and transmisson service done last year.

Any responses, would be a great help.

A 'major' service should include brake fluid, spark plugs, coolant, driveline fluids and filters(air, fuel, pollen etc.) But this varies from manufacturers so its up to you. Personally I would buy all that stuff because mechanics will charge up on all that stuff even though he will get it cheap.
