Stock Overboosting

I have a stock rb25det with 2.5inch zorst and pod (minimal mods), using stock boost solinoid and just out of the blue it has started to hit 10psi which is causing the ECU to pull back timing and run rich (mega flat spot from 4-5500)...it sometimes pulls back to 7psi when about 5500-6000 and goes very well but most of the time it stays on 9-10psi and is shittting me off ay.

since you have a larger exhaust, that could be the reason why you are running 9-10psi due to the less backpressure. I'm not sure how much bigger if the 2.5 inch exhaust is bigger then the stock exhaust (if at all) but i'm just having a stab in the dark here.

check the hoses going to the solenoid for leaks

one of mine was leaking and i ran upto 1 bar unintentionally

What intercooler are you using?

the thing is tho, i didnt change a thing and it all of a sudden was running 10psi, and has a flat spot, once it hits about 5500-6000 it drops back down to around 8-7ish psi and goes good again..ill sus out all the hoses tomorrow.
