The 4wd light in my 33 GTR is staying on and the torque gauge isn't working and it's driving me nuts. Anyone else had this problem ?

I've checked all the usual stuff, hicas level in resevoir, g sensor, no codes flashing from ecu. But I wiggled the plugs to the ecu and it will sometimes stop the light from coming on. So what could it be ? Bodgy connection or a crap earth somewhere ?

Please help !

I'm sure other people have had a similar problem - that's why there is the 'search' function. Had you searched, you would have discovered that the light is an 'error' indicator, and that AWD doesn't work (torque gauge doesn't work) in an 'error' situation.

Anyway, I remember a thread recently where the problem was caused by a loose screw floating around in the ATTESA ECU.

Clayton, don't you mean "throw"?

Haven't bled it yet, but why would it be going out after I play with the plugs to the ecu ? And when the light went out the torque gauge wasn't sure what to do and kept going up and down, that's gotta be a problem with the wiring/earth ?

I've looked and tried what others have done to fix there's.
