'89 R32 GTR -- Your Verdict Please :-)

Hi Guys,

I'm very lucky that the money I saved up for the last 5 years now I can afford a 1989 R32 GTR. As you know under the 15 Yrs rule, the 1989 R32 GTRs are getting easier to import and register in Australia. And as a huge fan on the R32, I'm very keen to purchase one for around $20,000 to $25,000 registered and everything.

I've read through the car buyer FAQ page avalible from this forum, and I would like to get more ideas more specifically on the R32 GTR.

These are things I know or I've heard about the R32 GTRs:

1. They simply cost too much for a 1989 car.

2. Most of them would have had an accident.

3. Most of them would have been trashed.

4. Not the cheapest car to insure.

5. bla bla bla...

It'll be very much appriciated to share your experience, advice and anything you have to say about the car.
