Just did my first drag session at Kwinana today in my R33 GTR and ran 11.9 but I reckon I can do better as my technique leaves a bit to be desired:

I was launching car at 7500-8000 rpm steppping off clutch, got a fair bit of wheelspin and was bouncing off the rev limiter after about 15m (also my reaction time was .5 so could be a bit quicker)

Anyone got any suggestions - have to say Ive done a dozen or so launches on the street and got the thing going a treat but the strip at Kwinana seemed very slippery compared to the road - I expected it to be gripier.

Cheers

Jeremy

Go on the 2nd yellow light, by the time your brain/car reacts it is always green. I seem to be getting consistent 0.1-0.2's, pity the remaining 400m isn't as good :(

Weird isn't it. You would think that a fully prep'd track would provide heaps of grip, bit it is still a work of art to get a respectable 60ft time.

What size tyres and what pressure were you running? A 1.827sec 60ft is pretty decent in an R33 GTR. It will put you in my Top10 60ft list (when I update it with your details).
