Melly
You don't use a hand brake at all for this I've used handbrake on skidpan before. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/434445-eoi-skid-pan-day/page/2/#findComment-7096028 Share on other sites
mattis96
It's easier and better not using the handbrake. And the gympie skid pan is big enough to not use it. grae35
You don't use a hand brake at all for this Exactly what I was going to say. If you got a VQ35DE then use the torque to flick the back out. Just did a slidewize day last Saturday and only used the hand brake for parking!!! Rhinorebel
Using the handbrake on a wet skid pan is a strange concept. All about weight transfer and throttle control. I am keen to have a go in the V36 auto... Just for kicks... I have no ability whatsoever so be gentle... I am keen to have a go in the V36 auto... Just for kicks... I have no ability whatsoever so be gentle... Didn't realise that it was a wet skid pan. Should be fun then. Was thinking that it was going to be very difficult to execute decent runs with a dry skid pan, no clutch and no hand brake. mattis96
Yeah it's pretty much like that, except there's witches hats setup to design a course, I think there's about 12 different layouts. Gympie one looks larger in wet area than that YouTube clip Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/434445-eoi-skid-pan-day/page/2/#findComment-7099558 Share on other sites

But they can definitely be skidded. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/434445-eoi-skid-pan-day/page/2/#findComment-7100601 Share on other sites
Bunta
I have skidded the gtr in awd. Its sort of the same but a bit faster and a bit more throttle required.
