Chassis Rail Rust

Hey guys.

Got an racv check on an R32 GTR which I put a deposit on. They mentioned rust on the chassis rails so I got the seller to send me some pics of it and this is it. How bad is this?

Can it be fixed and at what cost?

Will the car ever be the same once its fixed?

its only surface rust, easy fix

very easy fix, sandpaper and spray can.

What about the cracking in the passenger rail?

also check other common rust spots like wheel arches and skirts etc

Thanks man. Pretty sure RACV would have noted it down aswell if there was, they noted enough shit down haha mainly minor ageing/perishing stuff as what would come with a 20+ year old car

lolol nope.

once you fix that area of rust another area will desire the same treatment and begin to rust out of jealousy.

best thing to do, would be to leave it as is and hope for the best
