Hey guys so just got the car tuned its making 450hp at the wheels only running an exedy heavy duty witch is starting to slip so in need or a new one my budged is around $700-1000

What would the best clutch for my application be that will get reasanilbe amount of time & use out of it? Street car with abit of track/drift on the weekends

Thanx

for your budget your likely going back to Exedy

TBH for that price you'll be getting a better clutch from NPC..

I've got a 10" modified Patrol Exedy pressure plate with their infamous carbotic plate for under ~$800 delivered... Doug from NPC said it will take up to 400kW any day of the week.

best part is, the pedal feels as soft as a stock clutch... I even thought I fked the clutch install when I when to test my pedal.

Ok awesome! What I don't get is why the carbotic is over $200 dollars difference if its a lot better then the Kevlar button?

These are the prices I got:

10" cushioned button :- $907.5

10" Kevlar button :- $973.50

10" carbotic button:- $753.5

maybe the material costs?

I've never used a kevlar clutch before so I can't comment.. but a ceramic vs. carbotic I must say the ceramic is easier to drive :)

It takes a man to drive a carbotic clutch, I'm pretty used to mine and can go through Sydney traffic without stalling it (when I'm alert, when I'm tired after work it's stall-o-matic)
