BC for sure, I had them in my last R34 & put them in my current R34. Went standard 8/6 & on full soft I dont think they are much stiffer than the king springs that were on before. Full hard really is HARD!

It's not listed as a Type 1 Hooning Offence AFAIK / IIRC so it wouldn't result in an impound..although, for the paranoids:

"Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle" is a Type 1 Offence...and a very broad offence at that...open to interpretation whether an excessively low car qualifies....:P

You'd have to be pretty unlucky to get done for something like that...

Cheers mate, does anyone know if your car is below 100m and your just randomly Encountered by police can they impound your car or is it just warning/defect?

AFAIK defect. Adjustable height coilovers are also defectable even if you are above 100mm. 100mm is whilst the car is under full load.

I have lowered my car leaving a finger width gap between the tyre & wheel arch & the body is still well over 100mm off the ground, I think it was around 150mm. I dont have a body kit on it.

My exhaust however at its lowest point is less than 100mm off the ground. Still not sure if they measure from the lowest part of the car or from a structural part.

Lowest point mate. Get a bracket made to bring it up?

Iirc the height adjustment threading can be spoiled/locked so it's impossible to go below 100mm, then mod plate issued. Most people wouldn't dare to spoil their expensive coilovers though so no one does it. I've been driving with bcs for 4 years now, only got pulled up once and the dude just said it's too low and drove off, mind you this is in an s15 that was slammed to kingdom come lol. My current caris much mmore sensibly set up and no attention attracted so far. If you don't plan to slam it then good chance they won't care, but it's your choice in the end.

Edit: left out an important detail never been through a roadside defect station ever. If you got stopped at one then that would be a different ballgame...
