As the title states, i'm looking to buy a complete rb26 head to build a 26/30. must be in good condition and come with all covers, also after a standard intake side to suit and the engine loom. don't want or need the exhaust side. Brisbane sellers preferred but will buy interstate if the deal is right from a reliable seller. May also consider complete rb25det neo engines. 0433 559 722.

I have a standard (albeit pink, could use a repaint) plenum, throttle bodies and balance tube.

Would be after $800 for the lot plus postage. Located in Wollongong NSW.

I also have a standard RB26 head, but it has a slight indentation on the mounting face on no.6 cyclinder.

Dont know if it can be filled in and then machined flat, as i havent had the time to enquire about it.

It is complete, just dont have the covers for it. But it will need a service anyway as it has been sitting in storage for a long time.

Thanks for the reply mate but i have already found a couple that i'm looking at. one complete running top end minus turbo's $1500 and another low k top end minus covers for $1300.

Your head probably can be fixed. I have a rb25det neo head here thats like that but worse. not game to use it though. Had enough stuff arounds with this build.

In melb & have a 33 rb26 complete motor minus injectors & loom snipped so no injector connectors either.

Block needs bore, but haven't taken head off.

block needs a bore but you havent taken the head off? did you inspect by remving sump and crank?? how many k's and how much?

I cant confirm klm's.

mechanic used some fancy tool to look at the bore.

Chasing around $1800, however can vary depending on what bits you want.

I still have the intake side, plenum, throttles and balance tube sitting here mate if you need it.

Bump. Still after a mint condition head as I just got ripped off alot of money by an upstanding member of sau who thought it would be a good idea to lie through their teeth and sell me their lump of scrap metal. Only need a complete head now. no manifolds. Don't even think of trying to palm off your rubbish to me. I need a head in perfect condition. stock or built. Photo's and receipts have preference as do QLD sellers. Contact me if you are a genuine seller. Pieces of shit need not apply.

    • I would not be surprised if you are the only person on earth that has the interest/desire to do that lol.  The Haltech base map is a really good starting point, the car will fire easily and drive very well, even on mild boost levels. To me, following your advice sounds like some sort of ancient Chinese water torcher lol (this is not an insult Josh, never change <3)
    • Those car show concepts from the 2000's and 2010's like the Floria and IDx were brilliant and should've gone ahead, at least one of them. But neither Honda nor Nissan are thinking about affordable performance any more, which is truly sad.  Even if Toyota's liquid hydrogen ICE development reaches the point where it's commercially viable and the infrastructure to support it, Honda/Nissan would have to wait until Toyota allow fee access to their patents to offer it with any smaller performance models they released to take advantage of it.
    • A sporty manual RWD coupe with a IL4 Honda engine would only be a good thing I assume we won't see anything released for a few years though, unless informal talks and designs have been going on for a few years,  and due to the current, and future, emmisions and safety requirements, I assume anything "sporty" they would do would be at least some hybrid thingie And hopefully anything they are thinking of has nice lines, without lots of plastic and fake bits hanging off it like that horrendous FK8 that looked like it was designed by a 13 year old The other issue of course in the current market is cost, currently the type R is around $70k, a twin is around $50k Meh, I'm old and grumpy and would rather buy a older model car and waste my coin on that than buying anything currently available new
