1995 Nissan Skyline GTR Silver, Carbon fiber front lip, carbon fiber rear wing, black Advan RSII 18x10, Yokahama Advan A050, Apexi coil overs, project Mu front brakes, 6 piston racing calipers, 380mm front rotors, Fujitsibu 3 1⁄2 inch exhaust, greddy front pipe, HKS dump pipes, Apexi 5 inch intercooler, Greddy radiator, GREX oil cooler and oil filter relocate kit, Apexi Power FC engine management with hand controller, GREDDY intake manifold, SARD 700cc injectors, Greddy lightweight pulley kit, ROSS harmonic balancer, Tomei ProCam 270 degree camshafts, oversize valves, Tomei head gasket, Head studs, main studs, h-beam Conrods, Forged pistons, JUN oil pump, engine has been race balanced and blueprinted, Greddy aluminum intercooler piping kit, Greddy radiator hoses, Nismo twin plate clutch kit, OS Giken cross mission gear set, CAMS approved and certified roll cage, SPARCO front seats, SPARCO steering wheel, window nets, fire extinguisher system with jets fitted throughout the entire car, isolator switch.       This, honestly, is entirely BMW life. There's so many little things that once you know about you are either more relaxed or more uptight! 🤣 Fwiw (and slightly in my defence) our X5 has been flawless! The biggest issue we've had was problems with the front diff which ended up with a 2k rebuild but other than regular servicing with good oil and filters we've had no out of the ordinary costs or problems. it's been amazing and we've put 90k on it over about 5 years.  It's just the other two. The problem kids.

      The more I think about it, the more I should probably go with a genuine Bride seat and rail set up. But damn the $$$ for a driver and passenger seat + rails!

      From what I understand, stock internals should hold out for a while even if you run 500 at the crank, no? Especially if you don't run a modern turbo setup that reaches power and torque much earlier than the original twins. My engine isn't unopened either, it has N1 Pumps, head oil restrictor, new crank and cams, new piston rings, ARP head studs and Cometic headgasket along with 2860-5s. Considering everything is healthy this should run fine for a while I assume. Once my engine stops leaking shit everywhere, it'll be tuned to 370 crank first anyway, because I need to legalize the turbo setup. If I end up needing a new engine because my block actually has an issue, even though GTSboy was adamant that the whole porous block story is nonsense, before putting an engine in I'm probably gonna take care of the weakspots.

      Hah, I have no issues with what you are doing whatsoever! You clearly know what you are getting yourself into. It's just funny reading things like this. "What's that noise?" "Oh, that's normal. That's just the engine not getting any oil. Nothing to worry about. It'll go away in a moment"
