Hey guys I purchased a gtr r32 which I was told was rebuilt two owners ago yet no receipts but car seems to run perfectly fine. My question is, I am scared of the oil failures due to the pumps in the rb26s. I am not a mechanic and would like to know how I could check to see what oil pump I am running.. what does it require to check this?? Furthermore, I am looking to have a max power output of 270awkws and it will be strictly street use. Is this a safe figure assuming my engine was rebuilt 10000kms ago on just standard internals no forgies... any experience or info will be much appreciated

Thanks man I have a power fc, just installed gt 2860-7s, has hks dumps, full exhaust and also apexi pod filters... you reckon 270 kws is safe though? I honestly wont be tempted for more than that power output but if it isnt safe on standard bottom end I will have to decrese that figure

Have a look here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/93880-rb26-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/
It shows what people have achieved with different setups. First page ~240kW on standard turbo, not bad.

I haven't touched the engine side of my car yet, it's all standard so I can't really provide first have experiences on what's achievable.
