Best driving roads on the Gold Coast

Do they exist? Where are they?

Recommend the best driving roads/routes on the gold coast, for a good'ol weekend drive

Gold Coast - Springbrook road on to Pine Creek Road then home via Nerang - Murwillumbah road is pretty great

Or, head south once you're on the hinze dam road to murwhillimba itself. After that you can blast back via the currumbin valley road or keep on going to kyogle and back via the mt lindsay highway bellbirds range section if you're up for a really long drive. The shorter one only took me 4 hours for a round trip, with lots of stops.

Last time I went it was good. A few parts of the springbrook rd were a little rough. The rest was very good.

Are there any roads with long straight sections that are not police hot spots in the Brisbane / Gold coast area?

Yeah it's called the drag strip

M1's great. Long straights 4 lanes and no cops or speed cameras - ever.
