I'll ask them about the torque converter mod.

Im waiting to find a skyline pull up at the lights so I can give it a bit of a go. So far have only wasted my time with an S commodore.

Amir.. You must have the Non-VVTi Soarer.

The one I drove was also the Non-VVTi. That one was definately slower than the line and my old VS slightly moded V8 Commodore.

so how fast is the soarer in the quarter mile? (manual times)

i went in my mates TT soarer and it feels slow as shit.......well not until it hit into 80km/hr.... first 80 is mightly slow

wanna know how to launch these things?

put it to 2nd, put it onto normal gearbox mode, stall it up. then when u get off the brake flick the switch to power gearbox mode

this way it flicks back into 1st with nice power delivery from go

id have 2 agree these cars r nice
