So I see more stagea's around the streets of the city of churches than ever b4, some bloody good examples of tissue box glorification at that too, but it approaches on a year since we have had a succsesful cruise, been a couple of fizzes! but no old 25 + stag cruises, pub meals, bakery runs ect ! I am way to busy to organise one but I thought I'd throw the idea out there to any one who does

So does the brother hood of the unicorn live on in Adelaide ????

The local Mr Plod seems to have been instructed to remove imported vehicles of the roads at any opportunity. The thought of 5-10 maybe more imports cruising along albeit within road rules would still prove to irresistible to let pass for any local law enforcement brigade. Its what I've experienced in other vehicle circles anyway.

Thats perhaps just my opinion aswell.

Still if it was away from the metro areas Id head along for a day

Police don't seem to worry about a heap of Camry and Volvo wagons going for a Sunday drive lol its a good family event,

There you are - you've answered your own Q !!!

Mixed Volvo Wagon and Stagea Cruise it is !!!

Anyway in Sept NSW, the Stagea Cruise attracted about 26 Stags.

At the 15th Anniv Cruise we had 23.

Get to it lads!

I think it is caus we grow a little older, and maybe wiser, and there are other more pressing needs. I was 66 when my first Stag arrived. Now pushing 74 and I am just not able to get away from my Art Gallery.

There were a few false starts with the last NSW cruise; but the thing that really helped with this one (IMO anyway) was really good route organisation and a formal lunch venue which required a small (think $10) financial commitment.

Everyone knew where they were going, and were really looking forward to lunch at the other end.

Family & time constraints are a bit B.S. to me; everyone has kids/dogs/houses/sockdrawers to organise, that's life. :/
They're excuses, not reasons; to put roadblocks in the way of things you want to do.

Clear the roadblocks from your life for ONE DAY, and meet up with a bunch of mates with a common interest.
We had people from all stage(a)s of life; kids, and all.

so damn keen.

new to the stagea mob everyone seems to be on the same page and friendly, im just starting to get my stag to a crusable level and i would love to get it out and meet some of you.

put me down for any sunday!

Hey Glen, nice to see someone with a spread of Nissan. Never had a 31 but four R30 a Sil two Stags and a 32.

If you aint got a Nissan, your life has something missin.

Im keen as. Just need a little notive to get work off and ill be on a drive to anywhere. Just getting the stag up to scratch at the moment! Keen to stretch her legs soon!!!

Ha ha every time me And misses and any of my mates leave my house at the same time there is at least a 3stag cruise lol... Funny my next door neighbour said a year ago " you must really like volvos , your always working on them "

LETS ORGANIZE ONE..... Im serious, i would love to cruise with like minded people. Plus whats so bad about stageas driving together? Most of us run 4wd so no time for skids..... Those who are rwd...... maybe haha.... Im keen thats for sure and seeing more and more around is definitely a good feeling.

    • I like it when the counter chick leads you out the back into the racks and says "have a grub around in here and see if you can find what you need. I'll be back in a few minutes. Just left me in front of a massive motorised shelving system and 2-3 million fasteners, so I could find a peculiar SS shoulder bolt with cap head. Gotta love country towns.
    • I used this https://osgiken.com.au/product/os-giken-os-250r-lsd-gear-oil-80w250-1-litre/   shut my nismo 1.5 pro up by heaps…. Not silent though. Gives the car character and personality. It ain’t a carolla. If you want silent, put a quaife in it.
    • It's about the same time for me from Bunnings, or the Fasteners. My big push away from takeaway food, and gluten in general keeps me away from the Bunnings Snags too! Weather up here, I've been out for two walks today in the beautiful sunshine. Had a few little drizzles, and some wind, that honestly, a tin of beans and I could compete on how harsh she blows Thankfully, being this bit inland, we're not getting anything much really. Will probably pick up a bit more when/if Cyclone Alfie decides to come ashore. A few areas in the GC though, and south into NSW are really getting smashed though! Right now, I'm just annoyed Alfie hasn't hit, as I'm not allowed to crack into the BBQ foods like the bacon and eggs until the Cyclone hits "In case we lose power"...
    • I love fastener joints, the price difference between them and joints like Bunnings or Super Cheap is amazing, and they either have exactly what you want, or they can get it to quick They have even given me some for free when I only needed a couple of specific size In saying this, I have paid premium for fasteners from Bunnings if they have the sizes I need, but only for convenience really, as my local is only 10 minutes away, the Sushi joint near them is also a consideration  How's the weather Matt? Stay safe mate
    • Wideband is worth setting up if only for tuning purposes. I would not mess with the ignition system unless there's a misfire. HKS crank trigger is popular out here for the relatively easily sourced Denso crank sensor, not a bad idea to install as well regardless of power level on a standalone. Boost leak test is worth thinking about. Oil pressure sensor tied to a fuel cut isn't a bad idea either. Getting the tune figured out is a good idea. Without putting eyes on it and getting under it there's no way for us to tell you exactly what it needs but most likely you're down to the last 10% that will make a big, big difference in how happy you are with the car.
