C34 Series 2 Door Not Closed Properly?

Hi

I learnt the hard way the other day that my drivers door doesn't 'close' properly...drained me fricken battery!!

Anyway the problem...when driving with the door closed HARD, going over bumps, turning or even me leaning on the door, the interior festoon light flickers on and off also the round ring on the ignition barrel does the same.

What is the cause of this? Anyone else have the same problem before?

How does one fix it?

Is the rubber boot on the light switch for the door intact?

I have had that issue before.

You're right! Didn't notice the rubber thing on the button is buggered, hopefully can get one from Nissan.

might also be the switch itself, even then that's a cheap and simple fix
