Importing a car yourself

Looking around at the moment for a r31 gts or a 32 t and have come accross some web sites that do importing. just wondering if anyone has used one of these site or knows of someone that has imported a 15yo + vehicle themselves.

Any info or things to look out for?

use the asearch button dude, plenty of threads about his. I imported my car myself, its a1988 cefiro, wasn't too much of a hassle. Main problem you'd face if you tried to do it all yourself is after you find the car in japan, gettin an agent to colllect the car, de-rego it and de-gas it then load it on a ship, after that all the rest you can do yourself.
