Hi All,

For sale are a set of 4 White Yokohama Advan TC2 rims. 18x8.5 +25 front / 18x9.5 +29 rear. Stud pattern 114.3 x 5.

I've had these on the car since 2009, however the car was rarely driven during the week so the wheels only saw weekend driving and some light track days. They are super light, weighing in at around 8 - 9kg.

These rims are extremely rare and Advan has discontinued making them. They are a pearl white so they illuminate under certain lighting. I am going to sell my car, so I am slowly parting it out hence the reason these are for sale.

The front rims have Advan AD08 tyres 245/35/18 on them, the inside shows signs of camber wear so those tyres would need replacing very soon, however they still appear very grippy.

The rear rims have Nitto NT05 tyres 275/35/18 on them which are completely worn and need replacing.

The front left rim has some light gutter rash on the outer edge of it, but it should be fairly easy to clean up.

The front right has a small crack in the rim (on the middle part where the tyre is seated) which has just temporarily been repaired but will need a bit of welding. I got quoted approx $110 to have it fixed.

Other then that the paint and rims themselves are in good condition.

I will get more photos tonight, including close ups of the gutter rash and crack.

Asking $1800 ONO.

Location: Melbourne South East. Pick up only.

These rims are still available.

Here is a picture of the hairline crack in the front right rim (can see it has been sealed) and there are two photos of the tiny amount of gutter rash that the front left wheel has.

Price drop - I am now wanting $1200 FIRM.

No time wasters and don't offer me anything lower because I wont take it.

I can also be contacted via SMS on 0458 762 075.

Thanks

    • Hi Fred, Are you still on here, I'm looking for 4 of these rims?
    • Looking back, I’m pretty sure I over-torqued the magnetic drain plug because I was trying to fully crush the copper washer. In hindsight, I definitely should’ve used a torque wrench. Either way, I ended up switching to a regular drain plug so I don’t have to deal with this kind of issue again. Big thanks to everyone on the forum for your support—I actually talk about you guys to my friends and coworkers
    • Curious to why you're not getting Jesse to do the exhaust, seeing that he has just done 2 GTRs with Aes valves.
    • What extra parts are you thinking you'll need to run e85 compared to e30?
    • I'm not aware of e30 in Australia, but I'm pretty sure e85 is still around. You really want a setup with an ethanol sensor so you can run any mix of ethanol depending on what you can access. Fuel Check NSW app shows 14 site in sydney metro with e85. What are you adding, will you put in bigger turbs too? Apparently the wastegates are pretty small and can't bypass enough as you run more boost.  I'm sticking to 1.3 bar with 98 on the standard turbos with my tune on advice from the tuner, and boost drops significantly in the top end; apparently larger turbos with larger wastegates are needed to get anywhere meaningful from there.
