R33 Wiper Switch And Unfolding Mirror Delay In Working.

Hi Guys hoping someone out there can give me a answer or a clue.

I have found on startup my windscreen wiper switch and the switch to unfold the mirrors don't work.

However after a few minutes or so of the engine running they magically start to work.

Does anyone have an idea?

Are you located where the outside temps reach below freezing?

No I am is Sydney, so its not so extreme. It happens in cold and hot weather. I have even swapped out the Mirror switch for a different unit. It had no effect, the problem remains.

I don't know. Check relays, ignition connection, and wiring. Honestly I despise electrical problems. When it gets extremely cold here, the electrical connections begin to fail till the interior is warmed up. Something to do with that white pasty stuff they use on electrical connections freezing up and not making contact correctly. Thought that might be your situation.

Pull the switch mirror switch, back probe to see it its getting power. Sounds like a sticky relay..
