R32 Gtr Sub Install

Hi guys just finished the boot part if my install , it's removable for drags which is why I didn't glass it in as planned, pretty happy with it so far has taken about 8 hours I would guess.

Looks the goods mate.

Just make sure that the amp gets enough ventillation behind there, because if i remember correctly (and im talking a while back) those boss amps like to run pretty warm, especially if you are drawing some current through them.

Ta , I will keep an eye on it there is about 60mm space in front of it but I will run another fan or something if needed as I don't want to loose all my boot lol

I'm so old lol those two little 10's hurt my ears lol, needs fine tuning but pumps pretty hard

Might just need to turn the gains down a little so they are not so overpowering.

Yeh the gains are a bit tricky having four of them I set head unit to 75% and turned gains up till I heard distortion them backed them off a bit is that best way? They are all under half way though

Yeah thats how we used to tune them back in the day lol.

Turn head deck up to 3/4 and tune gains to suit.

But i was more after sound quality rather than noise, so i used to have mine a little lower than most, more to have the subs compliment the speakers rather than over power them.
