Intercoolers just condense the air to create more power, it's not really a safety device for the turbo. If you just pipe it together to test it it will be ok. I wouldn't go for a drive but it would be ok for a test so long as the oil and water lines are connected and there is water and oil in the motor/cooling system

Buy a front mount kit for a R33 gtst, then piece the kit together. Might need to shorten or lengthen a pipe here and there but most of it will work.

It just common sense after that, it isnt rocket surgery.

Try giving Maatouks Racing a call. I am sure Anthony will be able to sort it out for you. May very well have an intercooler kit sitting on the shelf for you to fit.

As for damaging the engine/turbo whie testing it. A drive around the block with some light boost, even one reasonable load up, will be fine. Just make sure that it doesnt run much more than about 12psi as these turbo's dont like staying together at much past that
