Hi guys,

It is with great regret that I'm putting my pride and joy up for sale, the one and only Original Godzilla, the R32 GT-R. Those here in WA will have seen this car in social media being posted on Facebook by Enthusiast Groups, but most have never seen in real life due to it being kept in a warehouse for most of the time I have owned it and starting it on most weekends to keep the battery going and the oil moving. Well, now its up for sale. The paint on this car is still the factory Pearl Blue which is a special order on the V-specs (according to an independent site, only around 300 ever produced in this colour and 1 of 2 known in WA. This guy went to Fuji Speedway for the biggest GTR Meet in the world and only saw 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bQVhE72CWQ, skip to 10:41 haha, but check out the rest of the video too lol). Lots and lots of fruit and plenty of money has been spent on it!! She has been driven less than 2000kms in the time I have owned it which is about 1.5 years. Just paid for rego for another 6 months. If you're a serious buyer, get in touch with me and I can go through the vehicle in more detail and tell you the history of the vehicle. You will not find another that is in this condition with the original paint on still. There are some touching up that may be needed on the rear bumper due to sun damage from previous owner but I didn't want to fix as I wanted to keep everything as original as possible body wise.

Please note typos on the article: NOT a Nismo gearbox but it is built and T88's are made by GReddy as most of you already know. Lots of other things are not mentioned either.

NOT for the faint hearted and inexperienced drivers. Traction is lost on all 4 wheels in 2nd gear when hitting boost!! Tuned to over 600HP+ and has been driven on safe tune and low boost at 550hp. Engine is very healthy and T88 set up is still relatively new.

Reason for sale: car is hardly EVER used and hardly sees sunshine or the public eye, and I'm just paying for insurance, rego and warehouse storage costs. Ask all the guys with the best GTR's in WA and they will vouch for it. Rather another fellow enthusiasts who has been waiting for a rare and clean R32 monster enjoy it. So the guys who have been waiting, here it is guys. Make me an offer before someone else takes it. She even has the original glove compartment key. I have never seen another person with a 32R who still has theirs.

Chasing $28,500 o.n.o.

That Colour is awesome...i can't believe it's an OEM colour....If only i still lived in Perth I would be all over this. hope it goes to a good home.

shame you didn't drive it more often mate, I drive my GTR at least once a week, would go nuts if I didn't

Would love to add a 32 to my collection, alas 2 cars is enough for me for now.

GLWS

Hey mate, you're right. I would love to drive her but I've got a really busy work schedule as well as two other brand new cars of which I only use one.. and thats when the misses does her shopping. Therefore after much deliberation, I have come to the realisation that she needs to go to someone who will spend more time with her.

    • Meh, At 60 years old, I have been doing dumb stuff for much longer than you mate, I am the true King And unfortunately I cannot be a maroon, as I am not brownish red As for not getting ITB's, the plenum intake will apparently show typical gains across the board and increase induction noise a bit, but, have all over less dort than ITB's Cost difference for the extra ITB dorts was significant though, the total parts for the plenum set up is "around" $2kAUD plus shipping, the ITB's were $4kAUD plus shipping, I was contemplating really hard about paying the extra $2k for all of the dorts, but weirdly, some form of common sense, from listening to the platform experts prevailed  As for the NA mod hate by some, I've had a few boosted cars, with all their inherent issues, I'm now looking at simplicity and legalities for a street car, maybe I'm just getting old, and I'm quite happy to spend some of the kids inheritance, 5kw at a time 🤣 And think of all the money I'll be saving on consumables that something with boost needs, like engines, gearboxes, diffs, clutches,  tilt trays... etc. etc. etc. 🤪
    • Haha.  I wouldn't say I am either but I've definitely been around it plenty.  I'm guessing you know the dial in is basically to make a handicap to level the playing field between racers.  The car with the slower dial in goes first and in theory if they run their dial in time and the faster car also does then they cross the finish time if they also have exactly the same reaction time - if you go faster than the dial in them you lose, but if you are too slow there's a good chance the other person will get to the finish line first. I'm normally supporting other cars but they were all pretty dialled and were egging me on to race as well, here's one of the cars I tune (Starlet) which ran within like 1 hundredth of its dial in through the competition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inEBu-d9Gn4&t=69s
    • Where ever the fuel reg gets it reference is what I use to T into for map reference been a very long time so where it goes to plenum/runners I have no idea but never had issues.
    • What ecu? Same shop every time? Same ambient temperature? If timing is correct then pull plugs and see if lean or rich. Dyno can also read different if they have changed ramp rate or not set tacho/speed properly
    • I've never done dial in's just straight up, whatever that's called. I'm far from a drag (racing ) expert.
