boost spikes to 11.5 psi then back to 10psi

just wondering if this is normal, when stepping on the accelerator fully from coasting, boost gauge goes a bit past 10psi, then drops back and stays constant...is this a concern at all? (turbosmart bleed valve on stock rb25det engine afaik)

pretty normal, bleed valves do this more because there setting is constant (delay before wastegate opens) wheres EBC's can change the setting to maintain boost control..

my GFB valve does exactly the same as yours!!! But i'll never go back to the standard one!!! no, no never......................!!!!!!

Absolutely normal, mate. Wouldn't worry about it unless it spikes to 1.0 bar.

*** HOWEVER ***

Keep a constant eye on it as, imho, Turbosmart bleed valves are amongst the WORST on the market in terms of spiking and holding boost.
