Hey guys,

I want to start my 2530 build next year and was wondering if any if you had good bad or indifferent experiences with engine builders in brissy.

I want a very well built 2530 with all the oiling mods so it's a very reliable 500kw or so for drag use.

A mate of mine went to Godzilla and said they told him the don't specialise in hybrids. I was thinking them but now not sure?

Mercury? Spot on? Any suggestions.

i am getting chilton engineering to do all my machine work, as that who erd recommended me to use as they did all the machine work for all engines that dan built.

what work you having done? forged or cast pistons? what clearances are the piston to bore are you going for?

Did they have much to say about the process they use etc?

Dan owned erd, many say he is one of the best engine builders around.

Dan is assembling my rb30 25. Forged piston with upgraded pins, spool rods, he is building it to be able to handle 800rwhp.

Chilton is doing all the prep and machining.

its funny cause I went to Chilton engineering about my leaking manifold issues and showed him the manifold, he tested it with his straight edge and said not to bother machining it cause its hardly anything and it would be fine, but obviously it wasn't.. really loosing faith in these engineering places..
