Jdm R35 Compliance Cost?

Hello

Long time lurker now living in Japan and thinking of purchasing a R-35 (previously had a 911).

Not sure if I'd bring it back with me or not, but if I did I was wondering what the compliance cost would roughly be - anyone with experience? Also, which shops could comply it? I'm thinking of the 2011 model.

OP currently lives in Japan so he will be able to bring it in as a 'personal import' providing he has owned the car for at least 12 months in Japan. Not sure what compliance would cost you

,but if you post which Aussie state you will be living in, then we will be able to offer reccomendations on compliance shops in that area.

Compliancing won't cost any more than a grey import what with ADR adhered to eg child restraints, paperwork

What will cost is the tax which you are charged three times during the process. Twice at a federal level and once at a state level. This will be based not on what you paid, but by an evaluation at the time of import. Still well worth it.

Where would one get a jdm r35 complied in Queensland. If you don't mind me asking?
