Colt357
Hi, I bought uprev recently and did a few datalogging, but it is useless to tuner as the afr ratio wasnt recorded. I have looked into cipher parameters and i only manage to get AF WB-1 and AF WB-2 which is measured in voltage not the actual ratio. Any idea how to add AFR parameter into cipher? Thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/435625-uprev-afr/ Share on other sites
PN-Mad
Yup, read the instructions. Failing that. Memory is a little hazy, haven't used it for a while. Go into the options menu at the top, down the bottom should be an afr/wideband section. Enter that, and type in your ecu part #, and type of wideband. Logging will then be in AFR. Question is. What tuner doesn't have their own mixture sensor attached anyway.....? scotty nm35
A remote tuner I would guess. Not sure I would be trusting an old oem wideband sensor though... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/435625-uprev-afr/#findComment-7124927 Share on other sites

In my experience they have been dead on accurate. And have the ability to read further up the line than the one your tuner sticks in the end of the exhaust. Also, it can point towards single bank issues if one is leaner than the other. It's a useful tool. Colt357
I read the manual, the issue is with my cipher software it's missing "wideband sensor conversion" in the option. PN-Mad
Try logging using the feature in the ecu writing software. There is another way to log, I just can't remember which software program it's in. That has afr as well. PN-Mad
That might be a tuner package thing.I haven't updated my software in a while. I'm sort of hesitant, as options started disappearing last few updates. edit- its in the Rom Editor software. Colt357
I mean the tuner should have the ability to convert the af voltage to ratio since that's how you calculate ratio.:-\ Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/435625-uprev-afr/#findComment-7125119 Share on other sites
colin.ssc
Cipher should have all the parameters...I have the latest version running and I can see it. Or use the ROM Editor....I prefer using that... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/435625-uprev-afr/#findComment-7125290 Share on other sites
Colt357
Maybe my ecu is not supported, tried rom editor, same thing. Only showed af in voltage. Went to preference parameter was set in AFR. Sending an email to uprev . . .
