Having a problem with IE 11.

When I copy a picture from Google chrome and try and paste it into IE 11 it won't let me...

Please explain?

Are you on Win 8.1? Is it a legit version?

I've found that issue has started since I upgraded. I use Chrome and I can't paste into windows where I otherwise would have been able to. I think it's cause I haven't yet activate my Win 8 license.

Found a fix!

Uninstall IE 11 in control panel and then it reloads to 10... thanks gents.

Win 8.1 and IE11 is shite - also unstable in that windows in internet explorer freeze as well as not allowing copy/paste functions.

You cant actually uninstall IE11 you have to turn it off in Wndows features on/off.

Again it's control Panel, uninstall programmes and the Turn off windows features by unticking the IE11 box.

So had to do a rebuild to revert to Win8 and IE10

Turned off automatic update for explorer and tagged critical updates only during the rebuild

and now copy/paste works again and I can also insert links again
