Exhaust + Extractors?

What would you recommend?

2.5inch exhaust + extractors on an na r33? Ive heard that going over 2.5inch actually causes you to lose power, so im thinking of going 2.5 with extractors. I went to a local exhaust shop in dandy, got quoted 800 for 2.5 inch + extractors + installation etc.

What i want out of this is somewhat of a power gain, dont care if its hardly anything, it still counts, and i want a nice note that isnt too loud, i know with extractors ill be over the limit in vic which is 90db, but keeping it as low as possible is what im after.

So i want: extra hp out of this and a nicer note thats not extremely loud.

2.5 the way to go or?
