R34, What's This Bar?

Got a r34 gtt and it has this front bar, told its a factory bar just not sure what exactly..and roughly what would one be worth in decent condition cheers

Thats a series 2 bumper. Yep its factory.

These arent the most sought after stock bar compared to the series 1 and the Altima bumpers so you should pick one up for cheap depending on condition, etc.

thanks mate, yeah it's pretty ugly I'd prefer the series 1 bar, this is the bar that came on my 34 so ill be looking to swap it I think

No worries. Mine is also a '99 Series 1. It is indeed common for series 2's to be running S1 or Altima bars. They also seem to give better cooling for FMIC (but dont quote me on that).

I can tell you the reo's between the S1 and S2 are different. I tried to put an S2 bar (like the silver one in your pic) and it wouldn't fit.

Ah no shit, that sucks, I must have a s2 Reo on here aswell, it doesn't fit the best tho. Really hate this bar.. Haha

just for your future reference, it is ALTIA not Altima....because Altima is a boring nissan sedan, and Altia is the sports kit for our 34s!

We aren't referring to the bar you currently have. You have a S2 bar. The "Altia" bar was an option on 34's as said above.
