Wtb, Double Din Facia

Hey guys, would like to buy a double DIN facia for our 03 v35.

Have found they cost $$$$$ new and would love to be able to find a 2nd hander if anyone knows where i can get one?

Do you mean a stock one?

If so I got a non Bose one at home.

Nothing wrong with it only selling it because I bought an aftermarket stereo

Base model 250GTe skylines got them standard and turbo stagea wagons got them for the boost/torque split/temp gauge din unit and the radio is above that.

Thanks guys, our stock cd/stereo is jammed (broken) so im looking to buy an aftermarket facia that i can install an after market touch screen double din unit. If the 250gte or turbo stag facia will do the job then that could be a goer

You and many other people, if they ever pop up for sale they go quite quickly.

250GTe are quite rare and uncommon. I got mine by chance. You are more likely to get one off a turbo NM35 stagea. Metra make a double din kit but its not nice and the buttons feel cheap and flimsy.

Was just thinking.... How hard could it be to cut your own double din slot into the original fascia? Has anyone tried to do this?

Yeah i wouldnt suggest that.....

even if you did that you would still need the AC controller as the one on your current dash is built into the radio.

^^ this. The actual pastic facia is easy to cut. But the AC control/ stereo control is all integrated into one large board behind the facia.

I recall seeing a pic of someone who had modified the factory board to suit a double DIN facia and it was a big mess of wires.
