If you prepare them right and spray with heatproof paint in a rattle can properly you dont need to pay for fancy coatings...mine have held up fine for ages no flaking..

Those purple ones do look good though...wrinkle coat in a can can be tricky to get right

I'm really not a fan of the wrinkle coating in any colour.

+1 for powder coating. Painting lasts for a while but chips/scratches easily and depending on the colour will discolour if there's too much heat. Had a nice burn mark next to my turbo!
