Dash Protection

Hey Men, any ideas on how to protect the dash, there are no dashmats available for the 350GT, not sure how they would look anyway but would like some protection against cracking and generally poor condition occuring. Just had the car buffed & polished, a thing of beauty, stock though.

I just use a windscreen cover when parked in the sun, and have the windows tinted.

That also protects the steering wheel, door trims, seats, gear lever, centre console, etc.

You can get a US spec G35 dashmat and have it flipped and remade for RHD. Guys in the stagea section have done it.

I just put a towel over my dash and wheel and a sock over the shifter.

I was just thinking this today. But I did not have my towel and sock handy lol. I was thinking more along the lines of meguires dash protector stuff with built in uv protection .. kind of like armour all but not $h!t and greasy like arnour all is. I used to use it on my VE . I didn't have that car long enough to prove if it works (protecting from UV rays ) but meguires stuff usually does what it says

I used Meguiars on my old J30 maxima, the dash was still soft and flexable when the car died at 18 years old.

I did use a windscreen shade when parked in the sun though.
