I dont know if anyone ran? I saw Greg there in the morning off to get his registration but didnt see him again? A Black 32 GT-R in the car park with SAU stickers as well. There was a stripped out 33 on the track its the only skyline I saw.

The Formula 3 cars on track vs the karts was lol though

I left about 12:30 just as about 50 Evos & rex's showed up, some damn quick cars out today though. Glad I didn't enter I would have been destroyed by everything on track today!

There were a number of our guys out. Fastest from our group was Phil with a 56.8 I think. Stupid quick. Greg ran with a faulty transponder chip and didn't get timed properly.

Chants got to sit in Shawn's 4 door 34 with 'factory upgrades' and enjoyed that.

Was a great day.

The practice sessions were crazy once we found out who we were practising with. 'Just go out with the sedans' . No briefing of nothing basically line up show your arm band and floor it out on the track and try merge in and find a spot between numerious aussie cars, Carrera cup car, merc sedan, time attacks, rotaries, v8's , Hyundai class etc. Keep ur eye in the rear view mirror for guys trying to pass in close proximity, even around corners at speed. On the straight i was fine, but braking and corning um :whistling: . Was heaps fun  , but may not suited for some people.

The sprint were good. started 12:30

4 rounds of 4 to 5 laps each. Little bit of traffic but not to many cars, we all got held up at some stage, but generally was a good free run and plenty of time out there.

In the final round greg got a 1:04.8.

Cordo got a best of 1:08.2

I got a best of 1:07.5

i certainly found my limits with grip, brakes and overheating.

Would do again, but with some improvements done to the car.

Major bummer re Greg's transponder. What was the final washup there? Did he get any money back - did they finally sort it out at all?

Best for me for the day was a 56.2. The biggest smile I got though was watching the GT3 disappear in the rear-view.

that 32 GTR was mine :) they're SAU vic stickers.. havnt joined QLD yet.. looking at it.

i just turned up to have a look as i havnt been to QR yet and looking at getting into some track days. I had a good chat with Greg though, i didnt see the owner of the white 33 in the hour and a half i was there. awell.

hopefully meet some of you at things down the track
