Hi All firstly hello im new to this forum

MY m35 developed a problem today i was driving down the freeway at around 120-130 when the engen light came on. I pulled over asap opened the hood egen sounded fine ( i did notice the power stering bottel was bubbling away ) i shutt it off wated a few minutes went to star her againe it toke a long time to start and there appered to be the sound of the starter mortor tunung and not gripping the belt she did start up affter awhile the light cam back on but appaerd to drive and run fine. Concultions

somthing in the starter mortor went eg a baring thus tripping the light

i have the moste comon of m35 probs a leeking rocker cover and oil got in to the coil

somthing elctrical

This should be in the stagea section.

No way did the light come in from the starter motor. There is no belt involved.

The boiling ps fluid is crazy.

my guess is you cooked the engine, what wff the temp gauge saying?

Good call Adam, and if you plan to drive it hard you may want to stick a PS cooler on also, there have been many pumps fail from overheating on track days. It only needs to be a small cooler...
