Hey Guys!

I was thinking of painting my old 85 MQ Patrol with white Kill Rust, which I think is enamel?

I have sprayed before with acrylic paint to a good finish on other vehicles, but I have never sprayed with Enamel. The reason I was going to use Enamel, is because the paint on it now is shagged, and I have done several rough touch-ups over the years with pressure pack Kill Rust - for the respray I will use my spray gun of course. So far I have rust converted all the major and minor rust spots over the body and will prime those parts prior to spraying.

Has anyone every sprayed with an enamel like Kill Rust? From what I understand you thin it with turps rather than thinners, but I'm not sure how differently it sprays and dries?

Any help would be appreciated...this is planned to be my Christmas shutdown project.

Cheers,

Pete
