Vehicle Transport - Launceston To Perth

Greetings,

I have done some trawling and been unable to find any topics relating to car transport specifically from Tasmania to WA. I have requested a few quotes from different companies - all seem to be around $2,300 for door to door transport.

My brother is in the process of purchasing a 2007 Audi RS4 sedan, bone stock.

Just after some advice if anyone has done this or has had any experience with transporting their vehicles from Tasmania to Perth?

Bare in mind, the RS4 is a relatively low car from factory, so the transport company would need to be careful not to damage anything.

Any advice/recommendations/etc are greatly appreciated.

I paid $1100 for car transport (Patricks) for my stock r34

Getting it across Bass Straight will be a large proportion of that cost, it may be cheaper to fly over there and pickup the car, and then drive it home.
