For sale is my 1989 R32 GTR

Over the last year I have extensively modified this vehicle from near standard to a heavily modified street/ track car.

Engine Fully rebuilt no expense spared.

Fully machined and crack tested block, torque plate honed, tomei oil restricter fitted, chemical cleaned after machining.

Brand new Nissan R34 GTR crank, balanced by Walker Race engines

Personally I'd change the front bar to original bumper.

Bonnet needs painting it's silver

Small hole in bolster of drivers seat

Some scratches on door windows due to worn felt on window tracks.

Minor imperfections on body, but looks pretty f**ken good for a 89 model car.

Used to have bonnet pins, there are some pieces of shit welded into the support panel not a big job to repair though.

This car will be an absolute animal for anyone who wants a turn key car, that runs 72degs all day any day, sounds out of this world and turns heads any where it goes, the crowds it pulls when you open the bonnet give me great satisfaction.

Car has done 4000kms since build and is ready for a full tune currently runs 5psi and makes 360hp will make 850plus hp on e85

Just wondering,

how do you know it will make 850hp on e85?

Is that 850hp atw?

What psi do you expect that to be at?

I have worked at a leading Sydney Nissan performance shop's for years and have built over 50 GTRs of this level, I have 5-10 private customers with this same engine combo producing 850+ with slightly smaller turbos on 35psi-38psi At the wheels, so its defiantly achievable.

I have seen standard head rb26 with T51R (garrett) go 865hp at fours on 34psi, so its easy to do the math, I would leave this engine at 850hp for reliability

I was not doubting it making this power but rather curious as to how you knew.

Obviously you should have a good idea being in the trade and building over 50 to this standard.

That's a lot of power and I bet it would be an awesome car to drive. Just what I am looking for.

Only problem being I have no where to store anymore cars at the moment.

    • Indeed. Mitsuoka always did their magic on various Nissan models, but because the Nouera was going to be in the medium sized sedan class, they decided not to try and modify the 2004 P12 Nissan Primera because it looked too modern combined with the 1940's styling. It would contrast way too much so they went with the more suitable CL7 Accord... 😆

    • Hi People, has anyone come up with a way of getting non-driven wheel speed on a R32 Gts/gtst? from what i've seen the RWD R32 didn't look to come with ABS, if they did i can't find a rwd ABS front knuckle anywhere. is it a case of putting a S14/R33 front knuckle on and then modifying the ASB ring to suit a ECU input frequency limit? or have people managed to get a hall sensor onto the back of the hub and pick up the wheel studs?   i've searched but there isn't anything that I could find.
    • I was thinking about a hoist, the ceiling is very high, but half the garage has a half-height loft for storage and I dont think I'll even be able to jack the X5 up under it as it almost hits me in my 6'5" elevated head when i walk in there. And, yeah nah, maybe if I can convince Bec to let me get another car she'd be open to having as many as we can fit (cough @Duncan) but until that time you better steer clear! 🤣
    • For the sake of cost comparison, I’m currently embarking on putting a new 5 speed into my R33. I imported a new RB25DET gearbox from Japan, which was about AU$3.3k delivered to my door. It was a very slow process (~2 months) and I got extremely lucky with the exchange rate. The twin plate clutch I bought was about AU$1.8k. I've also had to buy all the additional parts required to convert the gearbox from a pull type clutch to a push type clutch. Total cost is about AU$5.5k, so GTSBoy is pretty close to the money.
